Eastern Connection – a regional express parcel carrier serving the East Coast – recently relocated its office in Providence, R.I., to a new facility near Interstate 95 with 8,400 square feet of space. The company says the expanded facility size will allow it to sublease space to some of its customers, helping them with their supply chain logistics needs.

“The larger facility allows us to improve efficiencies in our overnight and logistics operations,” says Steve Lavigne, executive vice president of operations for Eastern Connection, based in Woburn, Mass. “This will allow us to provide improved service and later pickup times in the state of Rhode Island.”
