Bergstrom Inc., a global provider in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry, has selected Pro Force Marketing as its exclusive, authorized representative in the Canadian market. Bergstrom says the partnership signals a more concerted effort on its behalf to grow market share in Canada.
“Pro Force Marketing deals exclusively with the truck, trailer and heavy-duty industry in Canada, and they have a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in this field,” says Bill Gordon, national director of aftermarket and director of global marketing for Rockford, Ill.-based Bergstrom. “The agreement will allow us to dramatically expand our reach in Canada and become much more responsive to our current customer base. We hope to double our market share within a year.”
ProForce’s team of seven sales and support staff will be responsible for marketing, promoting and selling Bergstrom’s Kysor and Nite product lines. Bergstrom’s Kysor division provides heating and air-conditioning parts and systems for light-, medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. The Bergstrom Nite Plus system is a lightweight, fully functional air-conditioning system designed to work without idling the truck’s main engine.
