Mack names Hollenbeck VP/strategic product programs

Mack Trucks today, April 9, named Bruce P. Hollenbeck to the newly created position of vice president of strategic product programs in the Mack product portfolio management organization. Hollenbeck reports to Tom Kelly, senior vice president of product portfolio management.

In this role, Hollenbeck will develop, evaluate, propose and guide the department’s efforts to set strategic project direction for the Lehigh Valley, Pa.-based company’s products. He led product planning activities at Mack for the past 15 years, including the complete renewal of the Mack product range. Prior to that, he spent 20 years in Mack’s engineering department and was responsible for highway trucks before assuming his role in product planning.

Hollenbeck is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and Society of Automotive Analysts; he also holds four patents, with five patents pending, in the areas of engines, cabs, transmissions and vehicle architecture.
