Snider Tire Inc. on Tuesday, April 7, announced its decision to join the Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) network of servicing dealers. “Snider Tire has long been recognized for the quality of its people and service to the fleets,” says Francois Corbin, chief operating officer of Michelin Americas Truck Tires, based in Greenville, S.C. “We are confident that John Snider and his team will help us continue to provide excellent commercial truck services to fleet customers.”

After 12 years of operations, the MRT Network has 44 franchise members with 79 retreading plants in North America. “Combining Snider Tire’s reputation with MRT’s retread process and products will be a great complement to the franchise network,” says Tom Brennan, vice president of Michelin Retread Technologies Inc.

Snider Tire, one of the country’s largest commercial tire dealers and retreaders, has been in business since 1976 and currently operates eight retread facilities and 31 commercial service locations, primarily in the Carolinas, Georgia and Texas. “We believe Snider Tire and the MRT products and process are a great match for our customers,” says John K. Snider, president and chief executive officer of Snider Tire, based in Greensboro, N.C. “Our people have always been focused on providing our customers with the best possible products and services to help lower their operating costs.”
