TransMax — available in a wide range of standard and oversized transit FMSI numbers — is an extremely quiet and stable formulation that exceeds all FMVSS 121 testing parameters for brake lining, according to the company. The lining is designed to offer excellent performance in high-temperature transit applications, exhibit minimal brake fade, have a high resistance to growth and swell, and handle thermal shock without sacrificing braking performance.
