William C. McCampbell, a veteran of the transportation and material handling industries, has been named director of business development for AmeriQuest Transportation Services’ new Material Handling Division.

In his new post, McCampbell is seeking out opportunities where the division can provide substantial savings to customers on replacement parts for all of their lift truck equipment. By leveraging the buying power of its member base, AmeriQuest says its Material Handling Division enables companies to search from three million parts from more than 100 OEMs, saving an average of 15 to 45 percent.

McCampbell comes to Cherry Hill, N.J.-based AmeriQuest from Raymond Corp., a materials handling equipment manufacturer, where he served as sales and marketing manager. Prior to that, he worked for Yale Materials Handling Corp. as regional sales manager. Earlier, McCampbell was general manager of Garden State Engine & Equipment Co. He also held top management positions with Ruco Equipment, a materials handling company; Lift Parts Manufacturing Co.; and General Motors.
