Direct Freight Services expands load posting options

Direct Freight Services says it now is offering more power behind each posted load. When a load is posted on www.directfreight.com, it not only goes out to thousands of drivers on the Direct Freight load board, but also is sent by e-mail alert to cell phones and now to traveler information screens in truckstops across America within minutes, according to the company; this is all done automatically with every load posted.

“We did not want to have any hidden costs or charge by the load, so we decided to keep our traveler information screens free to the posters as well,” says Steve Gabrielson, president. The loads on www.directfreight.com are constantly updated, ensuring quick removal of covered freight, the company says. “Direct Freight makes posting easy, by offering fax, e-mail and FTP options, or even a direct link to your company’s website.”
