Transite Technology — a provider of transportation management solutions, software and services — has been chosen by Matheson Trucking Inc. to supply the core technology in the company’s rate and price management system.

Transite says its Contract Manager integrates with a carrier’s existing billing and pricing applications to provide real-time customer pricing information and administration; further, as a core function, Contract Manager provides easy management of all pricing contracts. Contract Manager’s user interface is highly optimized to administer tens of thousands of customer pricing agreements, and its architecture allows it to scale to hundreds of thousands of agreements and rating requests, according to the company.
Transite says that in addition to carriers, the rating capabilities in Contract Manager are designed to encompass any rating need across broader transportation management systems used by shippers, brokers and 3PLs, including:
