TransCore Link Logistics on Thursday, April 16, announced the launch of a new Web-based Loadlink Online, which the company describes as a completely redesigned and upgraded online freight matching system for its Canadian customers, built on the dramatically more powerful Microsoft .NET platform.

The .NET technology will provide three times the computing speed, flexibility and an expansive tool set, according to the company, which says that Loadlink Online is one of the few systems in the freight matching logistics marketplace to make this sizeable investment in technology and will distinguish services available to Canadian transportation customers.

“Speed, reliability and ease of use were the essential criteria for users,” says Claudia Milicevic, general manager of TransCore Link Logistics. “Many of the enhancements are the direct result of suggestions by dispatchers who use the system in day-to-day operations and needed an online application that provides alternative posting options and instant results.”

Subscribers now have the ability to edit postings, mark leads as being contacted, chat with other subscribers and view live leads in a new, larger, easy-to-view tab that provides them with all the information at a glance to make informed decisions, according to the company; also, the new template posting functionality enables customers to select the loads and trucks they need to move for that specific day and gives them the ability to upload all selected postings with a single click.
