CCJ webinar addresses FMCSA fines policy

Under a new enforcement policy adopted April 1, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration likely will hit motor carriers more often with maximum fines for violations of the federal safety regulations. The agency has redefined what constitutes a pattern of critical or acute violations and a repeated violation of the same or related violations.

On Thursday, April 30, CCJ will host a webinar to address the new policy in detail. Jack Van Steenburg, director of FMCSA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance, will explain and field questions regarding the new policy. The webinar is scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. Eastern time and is free, courtesy of MPRI.
