The long and deep economy has led to a rare occurence in trucking: the need for many carriers to reduce their work force. Rather than finding ways to attract and retain drivers, the bigger worry among many today is how to proceed with work force reductions, pay cuts and other cost-saving measures related to employees without getting into legal trouble.
On Thursday, April 30, the Truckload Carriers Association will present the second installment in its series “Navigating the Storm” and will address the legal issues surrounding employment law in efforts to cut costs.
