Stemco announced that Consolidated Metco (ConMet) has selected Stemco’s Endeavor seal for use in ConMet PreSet hubs for trailer applications. Effective immediately, ConMet PreSet Wheel Hub Assemblies for TN and TP trailer applications will come standard with the Stemco Endeavor high-performance seal.

Stemco says its newly released Endeavor hub seal, designed for use in the ConMet PreSet hubs, is a hub-installed unitized seal that combines a high-temperature sealing element with a four-zone labyrinth active-contamination exclusion system to facilitate added seal performance and long life.

“We are excited to be partnering with ConMet to provide a high-performance seal for use with PreSet hubs,” says Jon Cox, Stemco president. “Both Stemco and ConMet share the philosophy of providing premium components that are simple to install with improved life and reduced maintenance requirements.”

Stemco says it will supply Endeavor seals to ConMet for its trailer PreSet hubs, and that ConMet also has approved Stemco’s Sentinel hubcaps and Pro-Torq axle spindle nuts as additional options.

“ConMet and Stemco are both singularly focused on the commercial vehicle wheel end market,” says Mark Wagner, general manager of ConMet’s Wheel End Division. “The synergy between our two companies will help us create products that meet and exceed the demanding needs of our customers.”
