Prophesy Transportation Solutions, Inc., an Accellos company, announced that Accellos One Pulse, Accellos’ newly released business intelligence solution, is available for use with Prophesy DispatchSeries trucking software products.

The release of Pulse marks a groundbreaking collaborative development effort between Prophesy and Accellos. Accellos One Pulse is a business intelligence solution aimed at increasing the availability and visibility of a business’ key performance indicators (KPIs).

Pulse displays KPIs through an easy to use graphical interface, allowing users to obtain a real-time snapshot view of their daily operations, follow company trends, and immediately know when various actions are required.

Pulse continuously feeds focused, practical information to the user through simple tools such as graphs, charts, gauges, and tables. This offers an advantage over the extensive lists of stark, sometimes irrelevant figures typical of standard reports, the company says.

Additionally, all KPIs are fully configurable and filterable according to several criteria and can be logically grouped and sorted for maximum efficiency. The resulting data can be exported to a variety of formats including XLS, PDF, DOC, and CSV.

Advanced users can also create custom KPIs using SQL statements. The initial release of the Prophesy DispatchSeries adapter for Pulse includes 25 standard KPIs such as:

  • Gross Revenue
  • Deadhead Percent
  • Driver Miles
  • Driver Revenue
  • Revenue Per Mile
  • Booked Loads
  • Additional DispatchSeries KPIs are planned for future development.

Pulse is among the first examples of a collaborative development effort between Prophesy and its parent company, Accellos. Originally developed as the Prophesy Dispatch Dashboard in early 2008, the tool has been expanded to work with the entire Accellos One family of solutions and third-party applications. Further improvements include the use of the latest .NET technology, a browser-based interface, and the addition of several interface features that will be familiar to Microsoft Office users.
