Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems announced Wednesday, July 1, that has released a new, updated and comprehensive website,, to provide North American truck operators with clearer and faster access to advanced braking systems information.

Aside from its product lineup and application availability, three distinct segments of the joint venture’s Pyramid of Safety — a comprehensive lineup of progressive and cumulative braking systems — are highlighted, according to the company:

  • Active Safety Systems such as the OnGuard collision safety system and the SmartTrac stability control system;
  • Specialty Vehicle Applications for such vehicles as bus, coach, fire truck and military vehicles; and
  • Service & Support that provides truck operators with literature and videos, onsite training and comprehensive aftermarket support.
  • The Troy, Mich.-based company says the website contains numerous links and documents, each with information on specific aspects of advanced braking systems.
