Phillips Industries announced that its Commercial Vehicle Products Division has received ISO 14001:2004 certification covering its Environmental Management System as it applies to the design and manufacture of electrical and air brake interface equipment for the heavy-duty trucking industry.
“In addition to our focus on supplying quality products that fleet owners want and need, Phillips is also concerned that we do it in an environmentally friendly way,” says Bob Phillips, president and chief executive officer of the Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based company. “Certification of our Environmental Management System to ISO 14001:2004 level validates that effort.”
