ALK Technologies announced the integration of its PC*Miler Solutions with Oracle Transportation Management 6.0. Oracle Transportation Management is a global transportation management system that helps streamline planning, execution, financial settlement, visibility, and business process automation across all modes of transportation.
The announcement came at the Oracle Transportation Management Special Interest Group (OTM SIG) conference held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, June 21st-24th.
The integration involves numerous PC*MILER products, including PC*MILER|Streets, PC*Miler|Rail, and PC*Miler|Worldwide to provide Oracle users with accurate, up-to-date routing and distance calculations.
Oracle Transportation Management delivers transportation planning and execution capabilities to shippers and third party logistics providers. It integrates and helps streamline all aspects of transportation management on a single application across all modes of transportation, from full truckload to complex multi-leg air, ocean, and rail shipments.
