Estes Express Lines announced that its new terminal in Grand Island, Neb., is open and has become part of the company’s expanding service coverage in the Upper Midwest. With the addition of the Grand Island terminal, Estes says it now operates 204 terminals across the United States and Puerto Rico.

The company says the Grand Island location provides comprehensive direct service to central Nebraska and will help support the growing business levels of the Upper Midwest region. The new terminal has a seven-door capacity to manage incoming and outgoing freight.

“The Grand Island terminal brings our service closer to the neighboring areas and helps us provide even more in-depth coverage to central Nebraska,” says Wayne Young, district operations manager for Estes, based in Richmond, Va.
