Silent Partner releases RFID system for inventory mgmt

Silent Partner Technologies announced the release of its Asset Manager Enterprise System, an integrated RFID active-tag technology with a range of up to 300 feet. The system runs on DAP Technologies’ rugged 2240X handheld computer. This inventory management system utilizes long-range Active RFID combined with GPS for outdoor applications, the company says.

Users can inventory hundreds of high-value assets in a matter of seconds-even in harsh climates. The solution also includes asset locator functionality, which helps guide a user to a specific item through audible tones and visual display cues. Lastly, when combined with GPS, the user can also be provided with “exact” visual location of their assets, the company says.
