ALK Technologies Inc. on Monday, Oct. 5, announced the successful certification and integration of PC Miler 23 and PC Miler|Tolls 23 by strategic partner TMW Systems. ALK says PC Miler’s 23rd annual edition includes critical map data updates such as truck restrictions and truck-specific toll costs.
ALK recently demonstrated PC Miler 23 at the TMW Systems TransForum User Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, Tenn. TMW Systems — a software provider to logistics firms, trucking, construction, utility and municipal fleets — says it has certified the new PC MIler release to ensure its customers take advantage of the new enhancements.
PC Miler 23 is a component of numerous technology solutions offered by TMW Systems, including Optimization Software products IDSC ExpertFuel, IDSC TripAlert and IDSC MatchAdvice, as well as the full range of enterprise transportation software hosting now offered by TMW Managed Services. This new service offering is designed to reduce IT infrastructure investments, ensure scalability and optimize scarce resources.
A tool for billing, paying drivers and managing operating costs, PC Miler — designed to reduce out-of-route mileage, saving time, tolls and fuel — provides a map data update encompassing 117,000 new North American truck restrictions as well as updates to Canadian dangerous goods restrictions. ALK says the enhanced digital map data includes:
