Consolidated Metco Inc., a provider of lightweight component technology for the heavy-duty transportation industry, has appointed Larry Sanford to the position of vice president of new business development, responsible for identifying new markets, customers and product opportunities and continuing to manage the sales efforts up to production launch. He will manage the sales and service organization, as well as product marketing and warranty.

Sanford joined ConMet in 1996 as national sales manager. He then served as director of new business development beginning in 2007. Sanford will continue to report to Mark Wagner, vice president and general manager of ConMet’s Wheel End Business Unit. He will relocate to the company’s headquarters in Vancouver, Wash.

“Larry’s industry network, marketing insights and proven ability to develop strong relationships with new customers are important assets as we continue to expand our business, especially outside the U.S. borders,” Wagner says.
