Verizon Wireless and TeleNav announced the availability of TeleNav business mobility products for Verizon Wireless enterprise customers.
TeleNav says its solutions allow organizations’ field personnel to manage their work and exchange data with back-office systems using their smartphones on the Verizon Wireless network.
The companies also announced TeleNav’s designation as one of a select number of companies allowed to include charges for services on customers’ Verizon Wireless bills, making the process more convenient for enterprise customers.
“Our enterprise customers have a need for affordable business mobility products that can communicate well with management software they already have in place,” said Rose Kirk, vice president – enterprise and government distribution and operations for Verizon Wireless. “We chose to work with TeleNav because its products offer the data capture capabilities our customers are looking for, but more importantly, address integration challenges with back-office systems.”
The TeleNav Track products are designed to integrate with existing business applications, such as payroll, customer relationship management (CRM), or inventory management systems, to provide a process for wirelessly transferring data collected by mobile personnel in the field to the back-office.
