FleetPride Inc., an independent aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, celebrated the grand opening of the expanded branch in Syracuse, N.Y., on Thursday, Sept. 9. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the official opening of the 20,000-square-foot facility, included FleetPride local and regional management, as well as Syracuse Common Councilor Pat Hagan.

“Despite overcast skies and drizzling rain, over 400 FleetPride customers came to see the new facility and to visit with representatives from 53 of our top product suppliers,” says Kevin Petrocci, FleetPride area sales manager. Customers also enjoyed lunch and several outdoor sportsman-themed activities. “Our customers are so important to this Syracuse team, and it is our hope that this event demonstrated our appreciation for their loyalty to FleetPride.”

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, FleetPride Northeast Region Vice President Bill Vingiano presented Dave Laclair, winner of the FleetPride “Brakes for Ford F-150” National Sweepstakes, with the keys to a new 2010 Ford F-150 XL SuperCab truck. Laclair, owner of Dave’s Mobile Repair in Sauquoit, N.Y., attended the event with his family.
