Champion Laboratories announced the appointment of Wolfgang Winzer to the position of president, responsible for worldwide growth of filtration products such as Champ, PetroClear, Kleener and Luber-finer.
Winzer joins Champion Laboratories after serving for the past two years as president of Webb Wheel Products Inc., where he was responsible for four business units with five manufacturing facilities for OEM, aftermarket, transit and brake parts, as well as being accountable for Webb’s research-and-development facility.
Winzer’s career has included positions with Siemens VDO Automotive Corp.-North America, where he served as vice president and general manager for both the aftermarket and specialty OEM business units. Prior to moving to the United States, he served in various executive assignments for VDO in Germany.
