The 2,400 drivers of Dart Transit Co. now can use Transflo Express truckstop scanning and Transflo Now! anywhere scanning from Pegasus TransTech to transmit documents electronically to Dart headquarters for expedited billing and driver settlement, Pegasus TransTech announced.

Dart, based in Eagan, Minn., is a truckload carrier that also provides logistics, warehouse and dedicated transportation, among other services. Dart previously used Scan & Go at Flying J truckstops. Pegasus TransTech acquired Scan & Go’s assets after the merger of Flying J and Pilot Travel Centers last year. Dart is among the more than 90 percent of Scan & Go customers who signed with Pegasus TransTech for Transflo Express and Transflo Now!

Transflo Express is a truckstop scanning service now available at almost 800 locations throughout North America. Transflo Now! is designed to enable drivers to scan and transmit documents, such as signed delivery receipts and bills of lading, from virtually anywhere; all they need is a scanner and an Internet-connected computer. Drivers can scan trip documents in the cab of their truck at the delivery location or later from their home office.

“We’re very pleased that Dart is now one of the many excellent and profitable carriers who use Transflo Express and Transflo Now!,” says Bob Helms, Pegasus TransTech chairman and chief executive officer. “We’re excited to provide services to Dart that will improve efficiencies for both drivers and shipper customers.”

Pegasus TransTech says that because Transflo Express and Transflo Now! expedite document delivery, fleets bill sooner to reduce days sales outstanding and improve cash flow; at the same time, drivers are able to get paid faster.
