Frontier Logistics, a Texas-based logistics provider for the plastics industry, announced that it is investing $5.5 million to open a warehouse in Montgomery County, N.C., and add 71 jobs. The warehouse at 100 Russell Drive in Star will add to the company’s 10 warehouses in Texas and 325 employees. It is a provider of supply chain services, including warehousing, rail services, packaging and container handling.

Frontier’s expansion was made possible in part by a One North Carolina Fund grant totaling $128,000. George Cook, Frontier Logistics chief executive officer, says his company is looking forward to expanding into North Carolina. “Everyone from the governor to the local community has made us feel genuinely welcome,” Cook says.
