Collectron International Management Inc. announced that it has launched fourth-party logistics services to manufacturers in a variety of manufacturing industries. 4PL Collectron Logistics will provide integrated, cost-effective supply chain management solutions, including C-TPAT-certified transportation, warehousing, distribution in the United States and Mexico, customs brokerage, freight forwarding and information management.
“Quite simply, 4PL Collectron Logistics Services is about enhancing client relations and cost benefits,” says Maria Elena Rigoli, president of Collectron. “We start by listening to a company’s unique logistics challenges. Then we conduct a complete business analysis. We then deliver a customized solution that meets that company’s specific cost and service requirements. The benefits include increased financial returns, enhanced customer service and improved inventory control.”
Collectron says it also will offer value-added services including online tracking, cost analysis reports, inventory management, bonded warehousing, inspections and in-house personnel to support a company’s logistic processes. Collectron will offer its 4PL logistics services to manufacturers in numerous industries, including the aerospace, automotive, electronics, energy, healthcare, IT, mining and textile industries.
Collectron says it will provide 4PL Logistics Services in addition to its Shelter Plan Program, which simplifies launching and running a maquiladora (or twin-plant) operation in Mexico. To date, Collectron has helped more than 200 companies start up and operate their maquiladora plants in Mexico since 1969.
