Rick Morelock, a dedicated driver for Schneider National, recently was recognized with an award from the Jackson County (Kan.) Sheriff’s office for a heroic act that helped save a woman’s life. On Dec. 17, 2010, Morelock pulled over on the side of the road to help a woman out of a burning vehicle, which could have exploded at any moment.
Morelock was one of three individuals that helped save the woman’s life. Jackson County Sherrif’s Sgt. Matt Honas and citizen motorist Andrew Evans also were recognized for their help at the scene of the accident.
