Central Michigan Kenworth has opened a full-service Kenworth dealership in Saginaw, Mich., on a nearly 3-acre site one-quarter mile east of Exit 151 of Interstate 75, the major north-south truck route that connects Detroit to the Mackinac Bridge and Sault Ste. Marie on the eastern end of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula at the Canadian border.
“Operators leaving Interstate 75 will find it easy to get in and out of our new Saginaw location,” says dealer principal Jesse Berger. The Saginaw location joins the dealer group’s three other locations – Central Michigan Kenworth of Lansing, Eastern Michigan Kenworth in Dearborn and Eastern Michigan Kenworth of Clinton Township. “The new location is part of our overall vision to provide quick and easy access to the full line of service and support our customers need to keep them moving,” Berger says.
The 23,000 square-foot facility has additional parts storage and display area for parts selection, and 13 bays, five of them with service pits. “We have plenty of room for operators to park their tractors and trailers, plus enough room to show them Kenworth’s wide selection of truck models,” says Berger, who anticipates Kenworth’s wide choice of medium-duty trucks being particularly popular with new and existing customers.
“Since we opened our Lansing location a year ago, we’ve been working hard laying the groundwork for our new Saginaw location by supplying quality proprietary and all-make parts from TRP Aftermarket Parts through parts runners,” says Berger, who was the Automotive Hall Fame 2009 Young Leadership and Excellence award recipient. “Now, we’ll be able to offer our customers in Saginaw and the nearby communities of Bay City and Clare even more parts support along with services such as preventive and express maintenance. Our customers won’t have to travel 80 miles southwest to Lansing to access these services and warranty support.”
In addition to its selection of Kenworth heavy and medium trucks, the dealership also offers Kenworth PremierCare parts and service programs and Paccar Financial support with flexible retail loans, leases and insurance products for the transportation industry.
Central Michigan Kenworth of Saginaw is located at 3046 Commerce Centre. The dealership is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
