Pegasus TransTech announced that Modular Transportation, a Midwest flatbed carrier, has implemented its Transflo Express truckstop scanning service. Headquartered in Wyoming, Mich., Modular serves the steel industries with a fleet of about 300 units operating throughout the lower 48 states. Modular’s fleet mix includes 100 company trucks.

According to Kyle Remsburg, dispatch supervisor, Modular decided to use Transflo Express in conjunction with an in-house document imaging system to help automate the billing/payroll process. “Documents from Transflo Express will import directly into our imaging system,” Remsburg says. “We’re going to see efficiencies with the combination of the two bringing our invoice turnaround time from 6-7 days down to 2-3 days. That means we will get paid faster.”

Pegasus TransTech says Transflo Express expedites document delivery and allows fleets and drivers to get paid faster. With Transflo Express, drivers hand their delivery documents to a fuel desk attendant for scanning; in seconds, these documents are delivered electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing.

Pegasus TransTech says the service has 800 locations throughout the United States and Canada, including all Pilot Flying J Travel Centers, all Love’s Travel Stops and many independent locations.
