TTS, a third-party transportation and logistics provider with a national network of independent agents, announced that Electric Logistics Solutions, an agency based in Frisco, Texas, has received Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) certification.

Electric Logistic Solutions, the third TTS agency to obtain this certification, is owned and operated by Carrie Ann Moore, who pursued the certification to bring value to her existing customer relationships and meet their diversity program objectives, as well as to qualify for new business opportunities and increase the company’s competitive advantage.

To gain WBE certification, a business must be 51 percent owned, managed and controlled by a woman. Each business goes through a stringent review process that examines all areas of the company, including operations, finances, facility and personnel.

“We are pleased to have yet another agency achieve this certification, as it is an example of how TTS’s agents continue to evolve to meet the needs of their customers.” says Andy Cole, president and chief executive officer of TTS. “Nearly one-fourth of our agents are female, and TTS is a strong supporter of women in transportation. We are proud to have agents, like Carrie Ann, who are willing to challenge industry norms and become leaders in their field.”

Electric Logistic Solutions, founded in January 2011, specializes in less-than-truckload, expedited FTL and international shipments within the instillation, restaurant equipment and white glove service lines.
