Ernst & Young has announced that John Flynn, chief executive officer of Fleet Advantage, is a finalist in the “Emerging” category of the company’s awards competition, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011. The program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
According to Ernst & Young, Flynn was selected as a finalist from nearly 100 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Florida award recipients will be announced Thursday, June 16, at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program recognizes business leaders in more than 140 cities and more than 50 countries throughout the world. Regional award recipients are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur of the Year National Award. Award recipients in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur of the Year overall national award winner, will be announced at an awards program in November.
