CLX Medical Inc. announced that it will begin providing flatbed and step-deck trucking logistics from its new trucking division in McAlester, Okla. The Austin, Texas-based company says its Stealth Logistics Group division will start with two 379 Peterbilt tractors with flatbed trailers, and negotiations for additional trucks are ongoing with a national truck provider.

“The decision to start a new division for SLG is part of our business platform and growth strategy,” says Daniel Honig, CLX Medical and Stealth Logistics Group vice president of operations.

The flatbed service will include Oklahoma, Texas and surrounding central states that show a steady and growing request for flatbed hauling. “We feel that this expansion approach to our logistics business is essential to our growth, and we continue to look into other areas and states to duplicate our business platform,” says Jose Chavez, Stealth Logistics Group chief executive officer.
