Concert Group Logistics, a transportation logistics provider, recently appointed Ron Miller as controller and Ian Oliver as director of corporate operations.

Miller joins CGL with more than 10 years of experience in the logistics sector. As controller, he will assume responsibility for all accounting and financial duties, and his department will seek to enhance fiscal planning, accounting technologies and processes to complement the company’s growth in both domestic and international transactions.

Oliver brings more than 10 years of experience in the areas of shipment optimization, customer service, national accounts, vendor relations and quality. One of his immediate goals is to further automate communication between local offices and partner carriers and agents.

“I’m very pleased that Ron and Ian are leading CGL in their respective areas,” says Dominick Muzi, executive vice president of the Downers Grove, Ill.-based company. “The global supply chain and our clients’ needs continue to change. Our network of offices and the executive team are always creating new ways to provide exceptional logistics solutions.”
