Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc., announced that it is the recipient of the Eastman Chemical Co. 2010 Supplier Excellence Award. This marks the fifth consecutive year Holland has received this award, which is part of the Eastman Supplier Excellence Program .
“Holland earned the status assigned to our most valued suppliers,” says John Huff, manager -Truckload, LTL, Drayage Procurement, Eastman. “This designation signifies consistent performance in furnishing Eastman with high-quality services and working on Eastman’s behalf to improve our efficiency and competitiveness in today’s challenging market.”
In determining award recipients, Eastman calculates the overall performance of its transportation service providers, considering on-time deliveries, customer complaints, loss/damage claims, safety/security incidents and nonconformance. In addition to high marks in overall performance, the Holland score for the category of on-time delivery was 97.72 percent.
