Travel center distributor DAS Inc. recently held its annual Travel Center show themed “Back to the Future.” DAS took more than 250 retailer partners representing more than 1,000 retail store fronts “back” to historic Lancaster, Pa., at the newly opened Penn Square Marriott Hotel located in the Lancaster County Convention Center. And, DAS took its partners “to the future” of Travel Center retailing by demonstrating its differentiated capabilities to productively build retailers’ profitability.
“We welcome the opportunity to show our appreciation for our customers, to build upon our partnerships and present market-leading business solutions,” says Mike Abel, chief executive officer and president of DAS, a full-service marketing and supply chain company featuring its own RoadPro Family of Brands, a global product portfolio, a flexible distribution system and a suite of business services.
“The best DAS show I have attended,” says Gary Boltz, category manager of Bosselman’s. “Lots of new products and super show specials.” The DAS show featured a host of product exhibits, merchandising solutions, educational seminars and special buying opportunities.
“Our customers know they can rely on DAS to provide them the right products, well-merchandised, arriving on schedule to close more sales,” says Steve Birli, Travel Centers vice president of sales. “We’re building lasting partnerships that put retailer productivity and profitability first.”
