American Express Open and FedEx Corp. now will offer the Open Savings program to FedEx Freight customers using their Amex Open card for payment of less-than-truckload shipping services. Cardmembers now will save 5 percent on FedEx Freight shipping services. FedEx customers also can continue to save 5 percent on FedEx Express and FedEx Ground shipments and on select FedEx Office print and businesses services when using their Amex Open card for payment.
FedEx and American Express have worked together since 1998 to provide discounts and a single resource for shipping, office products and print services to small businesses.
“Small businesses are savvy and they are constantly looking for ways to improve their bottom line,” says Laurie Tucker, FedEx senior vice president of corporate marketing. “The expansion of our shipping offering will now allow Amex Open cardmembers to save on crucial FedEx Freight shipments.”
