Internet Truckstop to provide insurance monitoring

Internet Truckstop, an Internet-based freight matching service, announced a collaboration with Registry Monitoring Insurance Service to provide tracking and insurance monitoring services to the transportation industry.

Based in Westlake Village, Calif., RMIS is a provider of tracking and reporting of carrier certificates of insurance for the transportation industry. With more than 100,000 carriers in its database, RMIS provides freight broker, freight forwarders and manufactures information on carrier insurance policies.

“RMIS is a company with a proven record in delivering quality service to the industry, and we are very pleased to be working with them to bring a package of new services to our members,” says Scott Moscrip, chief executive officer of New Plymouth, Idaho-based Internet Truckstop.

As a result of the collaboration, Internet Truckstop is rolling out its CACCI product offering that includes insurance monitoring. The CACCI decision support tool will include carrier performance reporting, authority history, Compliance Safety Accountability and score analysis, carrier directory, insurance monitoring and tracking.
