Regional carrier Golden State Overnight announced the opening of a new package sorting facility near the Los Angeles Airport, enabling the company to expand operations and keep pace with its growing ground and priority parcel delivery services throughout California and the metropolitan regions of Nevada and Arizona.

“The new Los Angeles facility allows us to process an ever-increasing volume of packages, while decreasing package handling times and speeding delivery routes through Los Angeles,” says Dana Hyatt, president of GSO. “This will benefit GSO customers who rely on the exceptional on-time delivery standards we’ve become known for, and ensure we stay on top of the rapidly growing demand for our recently expanded GSO Ground service.”

GSO Ground service guarantees next-day delivery throughout the state of California and also is available in the metropolitan regions of Nevada and Arizona, with delivery times between some northern California areas and Arizona requiring two days in transit. GSO complements its GSO Ground parcel service with other guaranteed next-day options that include 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and Saturday delivery times. The company also offers GSO Priority Overnight service.
