Pegasus TransTech announced that it has extended its agreement to provide Transflo Express truckstop scanning services through Dec. 31, 2014, with Swift Transportation Co.. Swift first began using Transflo Express in 2009 to provide same-day access to delivery documents, reduce costs and speed cash flow.

“Our focus is to provide best-in-class service to our customers and drivers,” says Ginnie Henkels, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Phoenix-based Swift. “We believe Transflo Express helps us efficiently streamline our customer billing and driver payroll processes to facilitate superior service.”

With Transflo Express, drivers hand their trip documents to a fuel desk attendant for scanning at almost 800 truckstop locations nationwide, including Pilot Flying J, Love’s travel centers and many independent locations. In seconds, these documents are delivered electronically to the company for immediate billing and payroll processing.

“We’re pleased to provide Swift with a service that positions them for improved efficiency and profit,” says Frank Adelman, Pegasus TransTech senior vice president.
