Jacobs Vehicle Systems, a supplier of heavy-duty diesel engine retarding systems, announced the appointment of William Wang as general manager of Jacobs’ Suzhou facility in China. China-based engineering, manufacturing and commercial functions will report directly to Wang, who will play a vital role in driving the strategic development and growth of the China market.
Wang, who brings more than 15 years experience in the automotive industry to Jacobs, joined the company in March and since has completed an extensive immersion process to understand the company’s processes and tools. He has held several positions of increasing responsibilities, including director of sales and marketing for Knorr-Bremse Commercial Vehicle Systems and most recently as director of key account management for Fiat Powertrain Technologies.
