Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores announced it opened a new travel stop in Pauls Valley, Okla., at Interstate 35 Exit 70. The new Pauls Valley location, which replaces the travel stop located at I-35 Exit 72, includes a Burger King restaurant, 77 truck spaces, eight gasoline fuel islands, eight truck diesel islands, two diesel exhaust fluid dispensers, CAT scales, a lotto machine and other amenities. A truck tire care center offers tire services and minor repairs.
“The new travel stop in Pauls Valley is special because it is the first fully rebuilt state-of-the-art Love’s in our home state of Oklahoma,” says Tom Love, chairman and chief executive officer. “We are committed to offering the best customer service and highest-quality facilities to professional drivers and the motoring public in Oklahoma and across the country.”
A grand opening event for the new travel stop will be held Friday, Sept. 2, beginning at 7:45 a.m. Love’s will host a parade caravan featuring a marching band, fire truck, police escort, Love’s fuel hauling trucks and a miniature fuel hauler through downtown Paul’s Valley as it makes the ceremonial move from its former location to its new location. A ribbon-cutting event with Tom Love will be held at the new location beginning at 8:30 a.m.
