Comdata Corp., a provider of electronic payment solutions, announced that WilcoHess has selected its Smart Solutions point-of-sale systems for use at about 400 locations across the eastern United States. WilcoHess says it will use products from the Smart Solutions suite to maximize business operations at each location.
Comdata Smart Solutions are designed to deliver flexible point-of-sale systems that enable store operators to consolidate convenience store, fuel and other profit centers into a single platform to create operational efficiencies that improve both performance and throughput. Comdata says Smart Solutions is fully configurable and integrated with multiple payment types, including leading fleet cards.
“We selected Comdata because their solution can be tailored specifically to our needs, which is very important to us,” says Nick Spann, vice president and chief information officer for WilcoHess. “By consolidating our locations with a single platform as robust as the Smart Solutions product suite, we expect to see significant gains operationally, including improved training processes and reduced maintenance costs.”
“WilcoHess has a strong focus on quality and service for their customers,” says Steve Stevenson, president of Comdata. “We are pleased to work with them to implement our point-of-sale solutions, which support their dedication to an enhanced customer experience by increasing each location’s efficiency and throughput.”
