Argosy International, a supplier of advanced composites and related products and services, has appointed Richard Rocco as its new president and chief operating officer. Rocco, who also has been elected to Argosy’s board of directors, joined Argosy in 2009 and previously served as the company’s chief financial officer and executive vice president of operations.
“Rich Rocco provides Argosy with a strong blend of financial acumen, leadership ability and manufacturing-industry experience,” says Paul Marks, Argosy’s chairman and chief executive officer. “He has proven management skills in manufacturing operations, information technology and strategic business planning – all of which have already made a significant, positive impact on Argosy.”
Prior to Argosy, Rocco held senior positions at Ernst & Young and at companies in the paper and textile manufacturing industries.
