Longistics – a North Carolina-based full-service provider of global logistics solutions that specializes in cold-chain logistical support and problem-solving services for a broad range of pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors of high-value high-security products – announced the appointment of Andy Marchiano as president, responsible for leading the team of people serving Longistics’ customers.
As a 21-year veteran of the logistics and trucking industry, Marchiano previously served as vice president and general manager of Raleigh, N.C.-based Cooper Leasing Inc., a full-service leasing and truck rental provider. During his 14 years at Cooper Leasing, Marchiano worked to establish and foster the company’s business objectives for lease, rental and maintenance product lines while being responsible for financial and operational planning.
