Registration open for NADA-ATD Convention in Las Vegas

The National Automobile Dealers Association and American Truck Dealers will be holding a joint Convention and Expo next February in Las Vegas, Nev. Thousands of new car and commercial truck dealers and managers, industry executives and exhibitors will attend the 2012 NADA-ATD Convention and Expo, which runs Feb. 3-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Industry keynote speakers include Sergio Marchionne, chief executive officer of Chrysler Group and Fiat S.p.A., NADA Chairman Stephen Wade and Vice Chairman William Underriner; Martin Daum, CEO of Daimler Trucks North America; and ATD Chairman Kyle Treadway. The NADA-ATD convention includes 38 dealer franchise meetings, more than 50 NADA University workshops and hundreds of exhibits.

Other highlights include the J.D. Power International Automotive Roundtable and NADA Welcome Reception. Aron Ralston, who had to amputate his own right arm with a knife to free himself from a boulder after a hiking accident, is the inspirational speaker. His autobiography “Between a Rock and a Hard Place” was the subject of the film “127 Hours.”
