XPO Logistics Inc., a provider of nonasset-based third-party logistics, has been recognized by Whirlpool Corp. for the quality of the expedited services provided by its Express-1 Inc. business unit. Express-1 was named Special Services Supplier of the Year at Whirlpool’s recent 2011 Supply Chain Meeting in St. Joseph, Mich.

A second XPO Logistics business unit, Bounce Logistics Inc., was recognized at the same event for its participation in the Habitat for Humanity Gifts in Kind program. Bounce Logistics provides Whirlpool with premium truckload brokerage services.
