Ancra International, in a strategic move to gain greater presence in the international markets, announced that Ralph Abato, vice president of sales and marketing, has accepted the new position of vice president of international sales for Ancra’s Cargo Systems Division, responsible for expanding Ancra’s presence in Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia, as well as focusing on continued sales growth in Canada.

“Ralph’s long history and experience in cargo control will prove to be instrumental for continued growth in these key international markets,” says Steve Frediani, president and chief executive officer of Ancra International. “While Ancra has an established market in these countries, Ralph’s leadership will prove invaluable in expanding that market base and furthering Ancra as the worldwide leader in cargo securement systems and products. We see tremendous opportunities in the international market.”

Additionally, Jim Calico has accepted the position of vice president of sales and marketing for all U.S. sales for both Ancra Cargo and S-Line. “Jim’s extensive knowledge of the trucking industry, along with his 30-plus years of industry and business leadership, will position him well in continuing Ancra’s growth as the market leader in the transportation industry,” Frediani says.
