Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications, unveiled a wall of innovation recognizing 372 patents held by the company at the company’s headquarters in Bloomington, Minn.
Thermo King also demonstrated its commitment to inspiring innovation in the next generation of engineers by introducing the Frederick Jones Innovation Scholarship, which will be presented to outstanding engineering students at the University of Minnesota.
Thermo King presented a check for $30,000 to University of Minnesota representatives with a commitment to annual installments of $10,000 for the next three years. The first scholarship will be presented during National Engineers Week, set for Feb. 19-25, 2012.
