The Idaho Trucking Association and the OTR Pro Card announced an alliance to offer ITA members discounted card fees for the OTR Pro Card, which offers nationwide acceptance at truckstops and travel centers across the country. The OTR Pro Card helps make it easy to purchase fuel and other products, develop and adhere to purchasing policies and design custom transportation level prompts for detailed reporting and tracking.
OTR Pro Card holders benefit from prenegotiated fuel discounts, no transaction fees and instant access to real-time information. As part of the Idaho Trucking Association, members will not pay the flat $4-per-card per month fee typically charged to OTR PRP Card holders.
“We are excited about our program with the OTR Pro Card because it focuses attention on one of the expense items that typically goes unnoticed by most trucking companies,” says Kathy Fowers, ITA president. “Additionally, we are encouraged to see an innovator like the OTR Pro Card tie state-of-the-art technology with low fees for a grassroots approach to transaction processing. Now a company of any size can benefit from recent advances.”
