AmeriQuest Transportation Services, a provider of fleet management services, has appointed Rich Silva as director of sales for the Northeast U.S. region and Rick Rogers as director of sales for the Great Lakes territory. Both men report to Kevin O’Brien, AmeriQuest’s newly appointed national sales director. He previously held the position of director of sales.

“We congratulate Kevin O’Brien on his promotion to national sales director and welcome Rich and Rick to AmeriQuest,” says Bill McCouch, AmeriQuest vice president of business development. “By retaining the best talent in the business, we can better enhance our expanding portfolio of fleet services. The breadth of their industry experience will help us serve our customers well, as AmeriQuest continues to match a challenging economic picture with the most competitive fleet solutions available.”

Silva and Rogers are responsible for managing the needs of private fleet and truckload carrier customers and educating them about the benefits of AmeriQuest’s supply management programs and its menu of fleet services, including financing, remarketing, fleet planning, logistics consulting, full-service leasing and accounts payable automation. Both men are meeting with current and new customers to help them improve their operational efficiency.

Silva comes to AmeriQuest from Ryder Transportation Services, where he served for 20 years, most recently as field inventory planning manager for the East Coast and Canada. He began his career in transportation with Northeast International Trucks, involved in the management of the parts department. His territory covers 14 states: Virginia; West Virginia; Maryland; Delaware; Washington, D.C.; Pennsylvania; New Jersey; New York; Connecticut; Massachusetts; Rhode Island; Vermont; New Hampshire; and Maine.

Rogers, a lifelong transportation sales professional, comes to AmeriQuest from All American Specialty Vehicles, manufacturer of ADA-accessible buses. He also worked for many years in the boating industry with Eldean Shipyard and Yacht Sales. His career includes a post with Johnson Controls Inc. as a supplier to the automotive industry. His territory includes Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
